Eric Lin, a high school sophomore, picked up the violin at the age of 9 after being encouraged by his parents’ support. He currently serves as second chair of the Shepton High School Chamber Orchestra and has been a member of the Texas Region 25 Orchestra since seventh grade. In 2024 and 2025, he participated and earned awards in regional competitions, including the Dallas Symphonic Festival. In his free time, Eric enjoys performing music for residents in senior nursing homes, running track, and going on side quests with his friends.
