Ethan Hyeontae Chang

Ethan Chang has played the violin for more than nine years and was a member of Young People’s Symphony Orchestra (YPSO) and has toured with them internationally to Europe and Japan, having the chance to play in Vienna’s Golden Hall, the Musikverein. Ethan currently is a member of San Francisco Symphony Youth Orchestra, one of the most prestigious orchestras in California. A two-time All-State musician (through CASMEC) and a CODA Honors participant, Ethan has demonstrated musical excellence across a range of multiple prestigious musical festivals and orchestras. He has also served as concertmaster for his school orchestra and has gotten the class MVP certificate for his leadership skills. Ethan is also a first prize winner for the Los Angeles Golden Classical Music Awards International Competition.
