
Euna Jung, age 13, is currently a seventh grader at Valley Christian Junior High School in San Jose, California. Her musical journey is deeply rooted in her family life; she was inspired to take up the violin by her two older brothers (24 and 29 years old), whose playing and passion for the instrument served as a significant influence for her. Euna has built a foundation of orchestral and competitive experience. She currently a member of the String II Orchestra at Valley Christian Junior High School. She also spent two years as a violinist in the California Philharmonic Youth Orchestra (CPYO). She has also been recognized in several competitions. In March 2023, she was awarded Second Place in the Classical category at the San Francisco International Innovative Music Competition. In April 2023, she earned Second Place in the Violin Division at the Silicon Valley Music Competition. Aside from music, Euna enjoys swimming, playing tennis, singing, and dancing to K-pop songs. She is an avid writer, with her poem Night and Day being published through the Creative Communications Writing Contest.
