Eunsu, Juna, and Jane met through Sky Ensemble, a musical organization with over twenty members bringing music to the community. Eunsu is a senior at Archbishop Mitty High School, and she has actively participated as a musician as her school’s drum major, pit orchestra’s principal oboist, and California Youth Symphony’s member. Juna is a junior at Prospect High School, and she is a violinist in the California Philharmonic Youth Orchestra and a violist in a string quartet. Jane is a junior at Homestead High School, and she accompanied her school choirs for five years, works as the Music School’s TA, and teaches a student piano for free as a tutor of the Do Re Mi Project.
The three musicians have been working together for over two years, performing popular hits for seniors at a local retirement home every month and putting together small gifts for them to enjoy on holidays like Christmas. This February, they performed for Sky Ensemble’s 9th Benefit Concert, which raised money for UNICEF.
