Evan Wang is a rising senior of John L. Miller Great Neck North High School. An aspiring musician, Evan has studied cello for nearly eleven years and been recognized for his accomplishments, including New York Nassau All County Orchestra 2019 – 2020, Long Island String Festival Association 2019-2020, Long Island String Festival Association’s Chamber Festival in 2024, first place in the 2025 American Protege competition, and second place in the 2025 Vivo International Spring competition. Additionally, Evan had been a member of the Metropolitan Youth Orchestra of New York from 2019 to 2024 and toured South of France with the group in the summer of 2024.
