I began my musical journey in South Africa, where I first started teaching myself the flute. As my passion grew, I joined JKYE Ensemble, where I had the opportunity to collaborate with musicians from Eswatini and perform in a joint concert with JYO. In these performances, I was entrusted with most of the flute solo parts, which strengthened both my confidence and musicianship.
After returning to my home country, South Korea, I continued developing my skills independently and was honored to receive a Grand Prize at a music competition.
Now based in the United States, I am excited to continue growing as a musician. I plan to join my school band next year and audition for regional band programs. Music has been a constant source of inspiration and joy in my life, and I am eager to keep learning, performing, and sharing it with others.
