Hailey and Christopher, both 10th-grade students at Los Alamitos High School, began their musical journey together in the school’s String Orchestra during their freshman year. Sharing a deep passion for music and a natural sense of collaboration, they were recommended by their orchestra director to perform as a cello duet for the spring concert—a performance that marked the beginning of their duet partnership.
Now members of the advanced Chamber Orchestra at LAHS, both Hailey and Christopher are classically trained cellists who began studying music in elementary school. Hailey is currently a Certificate of Merit Level 7 student, and Christopher is at Level 6. They continue to grow as musicians through their dedication to chamber music and individual practice.
Outside of music, Hailey and Christopher are high-achieving students with strong academic records and a shared love for athletics. Both are committed runners and active members of the school’s track and field team, competing in pole vault. Their unique combination of musical artistry and athletic discipline defines their well-rounded and passionate approach to everything they do.
