Hannah Wei was born in 2015, Mountain View, California. She started learning to play piano at the age of 5, under the guidance of her mother, pianists Dr. I-Shan su. Hannah won several awards including second place in the elementary school division in the 2021 SF international innovative music competition , 2nd place at 2023 American prodigy and first place at 2024 kings Peak music competition.
