Haoqi Wang began playing the violin when he was 5 years old and quickly developed an appreciation for its sound and performance. He currently performs with the University High School Symphony Orchestra and has been selected for the Irvine Unified School District Honor Orchestra multiple times. In addition, they have been recognized regionally through their selection for the Southern California All Southern Honor Ensembles. These experiences have deepened his musical growth and inspired continued dedication to both solo and ensemble performance. Outside of music, Haoqi is involved in baseball, and enjoys cubing in his free time.
