Hyunmin has been playing the cello for seven years and has developed a deep passion for both solo and ensemble performance. He was a member of the NLCS Jeju’s Tamna Orchestra, where he first experienced performing in a large symphonic setting. He currently performs with the Chadwick International School Orchestra as well as a charity orchestra in South Korea, using music to bring joy to others and support meaningful causes. Although he does not major in music, performing solo pieces and participating in orchestras since elementary school have taught him discipline, confidence, and the importance of emotional expression through music. Hyunmin has received recognition in several competitions, including the Mozart International Music Competition, earned a merit distinction in the ABRSM Grade 8 Cello Examination, and many more. Through these experiences, he continues to grow as both a musician and an individual who finds inspiration and connection through music.
