Hello my name is Ian Ford, I have been involved in music my whole life, my parents both were into music performance and so as a kid I was heavily influenced by their passion for music. The last 8 years I have intensely practiced the saxophone, I have tried out for all-state jazz and symphonic band multiple times. I have also attended the GMEA solo and ensemble festival playing a duet and solo. I was a finalist for GHP during the 24-25 school year but I unfortunately did not make the final cut. I have played for my local church multiple times, I have also gone to multiple conducting camps in Georgia. I have now been admitted into the Walton county honor band twice based fully on merit. I have also been a student teacher for the past three years in the varying Loganville bands ranging from the middle school band to the concert and symphonic band in the high-school. I plan on attending college majoring in music education, I intend on becoming a band director and using my passion to make better musicians.
