Our duo was formed at the San Fransisco Conservatory of Music Precollege division. We have been playing together since September 2024 under the instruction of Mihyun Kim.
Jake is a sophomore at Mission San Jose High School in San Jose, California, and a student at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. He began learning piano at the age of four and currently studies under John McCarthy. He has performed with the Hopkins Junior High Advanced Orchestra and has played duets with his sister. Additionally, Jake has won multiple competitions in Taiwan, where he was raised.
Nelson has been studying classical piano at the SF Conservatory of Music Precollege since 2020 and currently works with Lena Schuman. Nelson has won 3rd place in the Senior Ensemble category at the US Open Music Competition and 1st place in the Baroque Chamber Ensemble category at the US International Open Music Competition.
