Jane Ser

Jane Ser is a junior at Homestead High School with a deep love for music. She began studying piano at the age of six and has since developed her musicianship through accompanying school choirs, performing music for seniors as the president of Sky Ensemble, and teaching music virtually through doremiproject.org to a fifth-grade student in New York.

In 2023, she earned State Honors while completing Level 10 of the Certificate of Merit (CM) program. Her accomplishments in competitions include first place in the United Stars Music, second place in the United States Open Music Competition, third place in both the Bay Area Music Association Music Legacy Open Competition and the American Protege International Competition.

In March 2025, she performed the Grieg Piano Concerto in A minor with the Cupertino Symphonic Band at their annual Children’s Concert, inspiring many young, aspiring musicians in the community.
