
Jasmine is currently a sophomore. She has been studying violin with Mr. Michael Tseitlin and Mrs. Irina Tseitlin since the age of 8 and began learning piano at 4. Jasmine is a musician in the San Diego Youth Symphony under the guidance of Mr. Sameer Patel, the conductor of the Symphony Orchestra. In 2023, she won 1st place in the Goodlin Scholarship competition. She also earned 1st place in the VOCE Violin Junior section competition in 2022. Jasmine was a state finalist in the VOCE Violin Intermediate Section competition in 2024 and 2025. Additionally, she and her trio group, Luminus won the regional competition at this year’s VOCE Chamber competition. Outside of music, Jasmine is passionate about programming and LD debate.
