
Jasmine Liu (violin), 16, is a student of Commonwealth School in Boston, Massachusetts. She began playing the violin at the age of 8 and currently studies with Fudeko Takahashi of the New England Conservatory. She is a member of the Repertory Orchestra of Boston Youth Symphony Orchestras. Additionally, she was the concertmistress of the Concert Orchestra of Greater Princeton Youth Orchestra from 2021-2023. Outside of music, Jasmine primarily enjoys mathematics, science, and basketball. She leads her school’s math team and STEM presentation club as well as being the varsity captain of the school basketball team. During her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends and spreading the joy of music to senior homes with her a chamber group.
