Jayden Cheung from, Arcadia, CA, began learning piano at the age of five. He showed heavy interest from the start and continued to learn at a consistent pace for almost a decade. He was always an aficionado of music and held a great passion for it. He studied piano with his first teacher, Ms. Julie until he reached 5th grade, when his teacher retired and he began undergoing lessons with Ms. Eve. With her, his playing further excelled and he began to play pieces with a newfound sense of life and soul. He recently placed 3rd in the American Protégé International Piano & Strings Competition. As of now, he wishes to continue to compete and enjoy the privilege of playing the beautiful instrument, the piano.
