Hello! My name is Jayden Marte, and I’m 13 years old, living in Bridgeport, CT. I attend the Bridgeport CT Center of the Arts, where I get to immerse myself in the world of music every day. My journey in music began in third grade with percussion, where I fell in love with the rhythm and energy of drumming. From there, I expanded my musical horizons and started playing the piano, exploring melodies and harmonies.
This year, I discovered my true passion: the guitar. There’s something magical about strumming those strings and creating music that speaks to my heart. The guitar allows me to express myself in ways I never thought possible, and I’m excited to share my love for it with others.
This competition is particularly special to me, as it will be my first time entering a musical contest. I’m eager to showcase my skills and connect with fellow musicians. Thank you for considering my bio, and I hope to make my mark in the world of music!
