Jayne Chun is an eighth grader at Taylor Middle School in Millbrae, CA. She started playing flute at the age of 11 and is studying under Tina Kim. Jayne has participated in the 2023 SF International Innovative Music Competition and the 2024 SFIYAM Competition. In addition, she took part in the CMEA bay section music festival, the 2025 CMEA bay section music festival, the CMEA State Solo, and the Ensemble festival. She was part of her Taylor Music Band class. Jayne feels great compassion towards music and is striving to improve.
