The story goes, I pushed my sister off the piano bench at the age of 3 to play. She switched to flute and I stuck with the piano these past 39 years. I studied all through my childhood, enjoyed playing church from middle school and college and minored in music in college. I feel like the piano had always been my safe and happy place to express whatever I needed to. Now I enjoy teaching piano to students and performing on Friday nights! Thanks for considering my submission!
