Jiaqi Zhu is the student of Irina Koulikova for 2 years, from 2024 to now. He is a very serious and talented pianist with deep musicality and absolute musical pitch. He won 1st place in the Romantic Music Global Competition in New York AFAF in December, 2025, and will perform in Weill Hall at Carnegie Hall, New York on June 6, 2026. Jiaqi took part in the Music Festival of the National Federation of Music Clubs with superior ratings in the piano solo section from 2020-2024. Also, he is a prospective volleyball player of 2 years. He took part in tournaments such as the Nike Steel Championship in Pennsylvania and the Carolina Crown in North Carolina. In March 2026, Jiaqi won awards for 2 levels of the musical theory exam of the MSMTA.
