Jim Xia, a junior at BASIS Chandler High School, started piano at the age of four. Over the years, he has used his musical talent to complete level 12a, the highest musical education level by the Arizona state music teachers’ association, and also hold many concerts at senior homes. He is also a previous winner of the American Protege music competition. Asides from piano, he likes playing ice hockey and chess.
