Jiwon Huh

Jiwon began playing the violin at ten years old. Started as a hobby, playing the violin developed into something of passion and dedication as she found joy in music in her middle school audition-based orchestra. During this time, she was selected to attend the Middle School KIMEA Festival as second chair of second violin. Later, her passion for violin grew when she entered high school as one of the few freshmen to be accepted into the school’s high school auditioned group; in ninth grade, she was also recruited to play with several volunteer-based ensembles—including one with a professor and people living with disabilities—seeking to give people joy. Upon the start of her high school career, Jiwon attended various prestigious music festivals as well, including the 2024 AMIS Festival in Jeju, the 2024 National Honor Festival, and the 2025 National Honor Festival. She also attended the KIMEA Solo & Ensemble Festival with an ensemble and received the platinum award; with the same ensemble, she received I+ from the AMIS Solo & Ensemble Festival. She hopes to continue to grow in her musicality while playing the violin and develop her passion while playing with different groups that will challenge her.
