
Joshua Lee, a 12 year-old seventh grader from Irvine, California started piano at age 8 and started cello studies at age 10. He is currently studying cello with Ashley Kim in Fullerton, CA. He has won numerous prizes in various competitions. Southwestern Youth Music Festival: 1st prize in Qualified and 4th prize in Open categories. He has also garnered numerous accolades at Satori Music Festival: 1st in Qualified and 2nd in Open categories. He is a member of Junior Chamber Music and was the principal cellist of the All-Southern California Elementary School Orchestra in 2025. Joshua made his Carnegie Hall debut as a winner of the American Protégé International Romantic Music Competition in 2025.
