Joshua Cho was born and raised in San Jose, California, and is 15 years old. He began learning the bassoon at age 11 and quickly developed a passion for music. In 2024, he was selected to perform with the California All-State Honor Junior High School Concert Band. Joshua has played bassoon in his middle school band and high school wind ensemble, and he also enjoys playing the clarinet and alto saxophone.
He performed in the Emmanuel Youth Orchestra and the HopeBox Charity Youth Orchestra in the summer of 2025. He currently plays bassoon with the California Youth Symphony (CYS). Outside of music, Joshua enjoys playing badminton.
