
Juliet has been immersed in music making since birth and was given the opportunity to begin her musical studies at the age of 3 at the School for Strings. She has participated in master classes in Puerto Rico and New York with cellists such as Hans Jørgen Jensen, Bryan Cheng, & Natasha Brofsky. She now studies at the Manhattan School of Music in the Precollege division with Wolfram Koessel, and was Principal of the Precollege Symphony Orchestra. Previously, Juliet was Principal Cellist of the Rockland Youth Symphony, where she also performed as soloist in the first movement of Shostakovich’s Cello Concerto No. 1. She went on to become Principal Cellist of the National Youth Orchestra 2, performing at Carnegie Hall and at Usher Hall in Edinburgh, Scotland. In addition to these achievements, Juliet contributes to her school’s musical productions as a pit musician and performs regularly with her school orchestra.
