Kailey is a 16-year-old cellist from Maryland. She began playing cello in her elementary school strings program in third grade and began studying privately in fourth grade, initiating her musical journey. In middle school, she participated in the Middle School GT Sinfonia and later the Middle School GT Orchestra (MSGTO). She then joined the Baltimore Symphony Youth Orchestra (BSYO) String Orchestra in eighth grade and later advanced to its Concert Orchestra.
In high school, Kailey participated in the Maryland Music Educators Association (MMEA) Junior All-State Orchestra in ninth grade and Senior All-State Orchestra in her sophomore year, with plans to audition again. She is currently a member and principal cellist of the Howard County Youth Orchestra (HCYO), where she plans to continue throughout high school. Through her involvement in ensembles and performances, she is constantly growing as a cellist and musician.
