Kate Koczko

Kate Koczko’s journey into singing began when she was seven years old performing in musicals with a local theater company. As her passion for singing grew, she broadened her repertoire to include many genres of music such as rock, pop, classical and jazz. She has a powerful voice that is perfect for the stage, and her range allows her the ability to perform almost any type of song. She has annually competed in the New York State School Music Association’s (NYSSMA) competition vocally since 2020. She continues to work on her vocal skills with a private tutor as well as singing with Garden City High School’s vocal jazz group and chamber choir. She performs two times a year at recitals in large venues, including Adelphi University’s Performing Arts Center, and she enjoys singing at open mic nights at local venues. She plans to pursue music at the college level.
