Kaylin Perez

Kaylin Perez

Kaylin Perez began playing the violin at the age of 8 after expressing a strong interest to her parents and started taking private music lessons. Her talent and dedication quickly became apparent, leading her mother to enroll her with Dr. Leana Strouse. Dr. Strouse has been incredibly supportive, taking Kaylin under her wing and committing to help her achieve her dream of becoming a professional musician.
Currently, Kaylin is concertmaster in her Magnet School’s Orchestra, and first violin at the prestigious Florida Youth Orchestra in their Symphony Orchestra division. She took up the viola in 2024 and enjoys playing both instruments.
