
Krystal Jeong began piano at age seven and studied under Dr. Steele Moegle, developing a strong foundation in technique and artistry. In 2024, she earned 1st place at the Torgrimson/Swanzy Competition, a recognition of her dedication and growth as a young musician.
Following her family’s recent relocation to Katy, Texas, Krystal has continued her studies under the guidance of Dr. Jayoung Hong, with whom she is eager to expand her repertoire and deepen her artistic expression. Dr. Jayoung Hong’s mentorship has provided Krystal with new perspectives on interpretation and performance, helping her refine her skills and further cultivate her musicianship.
Krystal looks forward to embracing new opportunities to perform, compete, and share her music with others. Beyond competitions, she finds joy in using the piano as a means of self-expression and in inspiring others through her playing.
