I began viola as a third grader, began to take private lessons and was finally able to start participating in orchestras in fifth grade. Until now, I have preformed in SCSBOA, California All-State Ensembles, and OCYSE. In competitions, I have won first place at Satori Summer Music Festival; second place at SYMF twice, Satori Summer Music Festival, and third place at MACOC and Amici with a chamber group created in a program called JCM (Junior Chamber Music).
