
Leon began playing violin at the age of 5. Throughout his musical journey, he has performed with ensembles such as the San Jose Youth Symphony, San Jose Youth Chamber Orchestra, and the Palo Alto Chamber Orchestra. Leon has received top recognitions at numerous competitions including GCC Series Music Competition, VIVO International Music Competition, US International Open Music Competition, and San Francisco International Innovative Music Competition. He has been honored with 1st and 2nd place as well as violinist of the Year at the European Classical Music Competitions (2024 and 2025), 1st place at the Elite International Music Competition (2024) and the Crescendo International Music Competition (2025), and 2nd place at the American Protégé International Competition (2025). Leon has also performed at Carnegie Hall.
In addition to his violin achievements, Leon earned 1st place in vocals at the US International Music Competition (2021) and was selected for the Honors Performance Series 2023 for Choir at Carnegie Hall. Beyond classical music, Leon has a passion for musical theater, where he has showcased his talent in lead roles, and visual art, where his works have earned him a Silver Key at the Scholastics Art and Writing Awards (2023).
