Lexie Belle Shehab

Lexie Belle Shehab

My start in vocal music began at a very young age when I was put into vocal lessons at the age of three years old. As a young kid, I loved singing classic soul and RNB music, greatly due to my voice teacher’s Jazz and RNB background. Thanks to this young and extensive experience, I had felt prepared when it was time to audition for the Orange County School of the Arts, a 7-12th grade school I had wanted to go to ever since I knew it existed. At OCSA, I have studied in the popular music conservatory and learned under teachers such as Jamond McCoy, Mellissa Wackerman, and Natasha Pasternak. Not too long after starting at OCSA, I had started to gain interest in the Jazz conservatory under Dr. John Reynolds. Since then, I have been pursuing Jazz voice and have participated in programs such as the Brubeck Jazz Summit, Berklee Jazz Voice Summit, Music Center Spotlight, and California All State Jazz Voice Choir. My accolades include Youngarts Jazz voice winner, Spotlight Semifinalist, OC Artist of the Year Semifinalist, and Berklee Jazz Voice Scholarship recipient.
