
Formed through various musical opportunities, Claris Trio is a piano trio based in New Jersey, USA. Currently, Claris Trio consists of three instruments: piano, viola, and violin. The pianist, Lia Rujipornwasin, is a skilled pianist currently studying at Manhattan School of Music under the guidance of acclaimed pianist Dr. Daniela Bracchi. Aside from her musical education, she has competed and won first place in various local and international competitions, which have allowed her to play in places such as Carnegie Hall. On top of being a classical piano major at music school, she currently studies music at her high school as well, and continues to use her musical skills for volunteering and helping out the community, such as in Solis and Luna Arts and Angelos Mission Ensemble. David Euntaek Kim, who currently serves as the violist in Claris Trio, has also participated in many acclaimed competitions and musical activities. From placing 3rd chair in North Jersey’s 2025 Regional Orchestra and placing 2nd chair in the 2025 New Jersey All State Orchestra, David has been recognized for his musical skills. Additionally, he has also performed in places like Carnegie Hall for the viola in previous years. Finally, Seoyeon Kim is currently the active violinist in the trio. She has participated in many activities, such as various orchestra opportunities across different towns, as well as participating in regional orchestra throughout the years. Furthermore, she has involved herself in many musical activities that engage with the community, such as serving as a violin teacher at a local music school. Ultimately, this trio strives to touch others with their music and harmony while exploring new opportunities. Their range of experiences and commitment to growth hopes to connect audience members with their expressive music.
