Lucas Wong is a 9-year-old pianist from Sydney, Australia, who began learning the piano at the age of five. Music has become an important part of his life, bringing him happiness, calmness, and a wonderful way to express himself.
Lucas enjoys exploring different musical styles and particularly loves pieces that tell a story or allow him to express emotion and character. He enjoys challenging himself with new repertoire and has gained valuable performance experience through concerts and music competitions.
Lucas is especially grateful for the many opportunities his school provides to perform and share music, as well as for the encouragement and guidance of his teachers and family.
When he performs, Lucas hopes to go beyond simply playing the notes and communicate the feeling and story within the music. He looks forward to continuing to learn, grow as a young musician, and share his love of piano with others.
