
From her very first piano lesson at age six, Maria Tartakovsky has found joy in exploringmusic and sharing it with others. Over the past ten years of study, she has performed widely and earned third place at the Odesa Music Olymp Competition in 2024. Piano continues to be a meaningful outlet for her creativity and personal growth.
Outside of music, Maria is an accomplished student, scholar, and active leader. She participated in the Boston Leadership Institute’s Pathology Program, serves as President of her school’s Model UN, and is the founder and president of her school’s UNICEF Club. She is also a member of the Math and German Honor Societies, writes for the school newspaper, tutors math at the O&R Tutoring Center, and volunteers at St. Christopher’s Children’s Hospital.When she isn’t studying or practicing piano, Maria enjoys playing tennis, creating art, crocheting, practicing archery, traveling, and spending time with her dog.
