Marisa Dolcimascolo

Marisa is currently pursuing a Master of Music in Flute Performance at Queens College under Judith Mendenhall, having previously earned dual Bachelor’s degrees in Flute Performance and Chinese Studies from Binghamton University. Her professional experience encompasses orchestral, chamber, and theatrical performances, including regular substitute positions with Protestra Orchestra, and chamber ensemble work around the NYC area. During her undergraduate studies, she focused on the synthesis of Eastern and Western musical traditions, premiering original compositions and collaborating with the Confucius Institute to reinterpret traditional Chinese music. In addition to performing, she teaches private flute lessons to students throughout the NYC area.
