
Max Mihov is a 16 year old pianist from New York City who has been studying piano since the age of five. He began his musical training with Lora Tchekoratova and later continued his studies with Mina Kusumoto at Horace Mann School when he began high shool. In Fall 2026, he will join the Manhattan School of Music Precollege Division as a Classical Piano student studying with Maria Asteriadou.
Over the years, Max has developed a deep appreciation for the piano repertoire, particularly the works of the Romantic and early twentieth-century composers. In addition to performing, he enjoys composing original music and exploring the expressive possibilities of the instrument.
