My name is Mia Gonzalez, and I am 13 years old. I have been playing the piano for six years at the European Ballet and Piano School, where I continue to study with Ms. Jelena. I participated in the 2025 Charleston International Music Competition, where I received 5th Prize in the 11–12-year-old category. In the 2026 Charleston International Music Competition, I received 4th Prize in the 13-year-old category. I also received 3rd Prize in the 13-year-old category at the 2026 Summer Music Competition. These competitions were wonderful experiences and gave me important opportunities to perform, challenge myself, and grow as a musician.
I enjoy learning through practice and performance, and every competition gives me more confidence and motivation to continue improving. These competitions have also helped me realize how much I truly enjoy playing the piano. I want to continue studying piano, learning from my teacher, and become a better musician with every performance.
