Mia Gu has been playing flute for 5 years. Mia has been selected in many ensembles such as the MCYO Flute Choir, PVYO Symphony Orchestra, MCPS Junior Honors band, and All State Band. She performed at Carnegie Hall in 2024, and is a current member of Young Musicians Inspiring Change.
