
Mia Palma is a junior pursuing her bachelor’s degree in Music Performance at Liberty University, where she studies under Dr. Cassandra Hibbard. She began her undergraduate studies at Grand Valley State University, studying with Dr. Arthur Campbell and Dr. Gary June. Her most recent accomplishments include being selected as a winner of the 2025 Liberty University Symphony Orchestra Concerto & Aria Competition and being admitted to the Brevard Music Center, where she will attend the 2026 Clarinet Seminar in June. Her previous achievements include receiving second prize in the 2025 Grand Rapids Youth Symphony Skip Gates Concerto Competition, earning first prize in the 2024 Grand Valley State University Orchestra Concerto Competition, and performing in a masterclass in the fall of 2024 for world-renowned clarinetist Julian Bliss. In her free time, she enjoys composing, spending time in nature, and thrifting. Mia is an active member of her home church, where she serves as a sound technician for the worship team. She endeavors to glorify God in every aspect of her life, using her musical talents to honor Him.
