Michelle Zhu

My name is Michelle Zhu, and I began playing the violin at the age of four, studying under my father’s guidance. Since then, I’ve won the title of provincial champion and gold medal at the Hong Kong International Music Festival. Currently, I serve as concertmaster of my school orchestra and regularly perform in major school performance events, where I love bringing music to life onstage. Every performance deepens my passion for the violin, and I’m excited to continue growing as a musician.

Watch Michelle Zhu perform Scherzo Tarantelle by Henryk Wieniawski on the violin for the 2025 Spring Music Competition as part of the Charleston International Music Competition.
