Nathan Oskar Janco

Nathan Janco is a pianist, composer, and saxophonist from the Philadelphia area. He performed at the Dorothy Sutton Music Festival as a Superior-rated musician and was a finalist for The American Prize with his piece Canal Barge, Op. 1, which also won Gold in the 2024 Couperin International Music Competition. He writes and arranges for his school’s woodwind ensemble and band, including Viva La March, performed in May 2025. Nathan has studied with Mark Livshits, Svetlana Smolina, and currently trains with Rinna Livshin.
