Natsu Hamamura is an amateur pianist originally from Japan and currently residing in New Jersey. She began studying the piano as a child and resumed her formal training in December 2022, returning to the instrument with a profound appreciation for its sound, a commitment to personal growth, and a desire for musical expression. Natsu studies classical piano at the Japanese Children’s Society Music Club under the guidance of Akiko Almanzar. Balancing her musical pursuits with her professional career as a marketer and her role as a mother, Natsu brings discipline, sensitivity, and perseverance to her musical development. In 2024, she was awarded Second Prize at the New York Open Music Festival (NYOMF) in the Amateur Pianist category for solo piano. Through her continued study, Natsu remains dedicated to deepening her artistic expression and sharing her passion for classical piano performance.
