Neil Acharya is a sixteen-year-old pianist from Sarasota, Florida, who has been studying piano since the age of five. He has attended Pine View School in Osprey, Florida, since second grade. Throughout his musical journey, Neil has consistently earned top marks, receiving straight superior ratings through the National Federation of Music Clubs Festival from elementary school through his freshman year of high school.
In his sophomore year, Neil participated in the Royal Conservatory of Music Examinations, earning First Class Honors in Level 9. He is currently a junior at Pine View and plans to take the RCM Level 10 exam next spring.
In addition to piano, Neil plays the saxophone and performs with both the Pine View Jazz Band and the Sarasota County Professional Band. Outside of music, he enjoys playing chess and tennis and spending time with friends.
