Nishant’s enchanting journey into the world of music commenced in third grade, marked by his initial forays into playing both the guitar and piano. Driven by an innate passion, he soon decided to channel his energies exclusively into the piano, a decision catalyzed by a switch to a new, inspiring teacher who profoundly refined his abilities.
His musical odyssey took an intriguing turn in sixth grade when Nishant embraced the trombone, joining his school band and broadening his instrumental repertoire. This period of exploration and growth culminated in October 2024, when Nishant sat for his first ABRSM exam. His exceptional performance earned him a distinction, a testament to his hard work and dedication, which he impressively replicated with another distinction in May 2025. His prowess on the trombone was further recognized when he secured a place in his school’s top honors band.
As Nishant transitions into seventh grade, his unwavering commitment to music endures. With another ABRSM exam on the horizon, he continues to hone his craft, fueled by aspirations of sustained excellence and a deep-seated love for the art form that has been his constant companion since childhood.
