Noah Paul Barsoumian

Noah Paul Barsoumian

From an early age, Noah was immersed in music. As a toddler, he accompanied his older brother to lessons, developing a keen ear before starting his own studies at four. During the COVID-19 pandemic, his first two years of piano and guitar lessons were entirely online. He began with the Yamaha method for piano and the Suzuki method for classical guitar.

Now nine, Noah has already passed three consecutive MTAC piano exams and recently earned First Distinction with Honors on his RCM classical guitar exam. He has also advanced through several Suzuki levels for classical guitar, receiving certificates along the way.

With a goal of completing all MTAC, RCM, and Suzuki levels for both piano and guitar before high school graduation, Noah thrives on variety—attending music camps, festivals, and performing in guitar ensembles. While rooted in classical music, he also explores pop, rock, and film scores, drawing inspiration from Bach, Coldplay, Metallica, Hans Zimmer, and John Williams. He enjoys composing and arranging songs in his own style.

Outside of music, Noah loves inventing, solving math and physics problems, playing chess, and enjoying basketball, golf, and sailing. A passionate reader and traveler, he is inspired by new cultures and concerts abroad, each experience deepening his imagination and love for music as a universal language.
