Olivia Jarrell

Olivia Jarrell

Olivia Jarrell is a 7-year-old violinist whose love for music shines through in every note she plays. She began her musical journey at age 4 with her first teacher, Ms. Hannah Capobres.

She is now working on Suzuki Violin Book 4 with Mr. Benjamin Hart, who is the associate concertmaster at the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra.

Olivia enjoys both solo performances and playing in violin groups, duets, and trios. She is the youngest member of the Northshore Community Orchestra, led by Mrs. Susan Messina. She serves her church in Slidell, Louisiana, through music every Sabbath. Olivia has performed as a violin soloist at concerts for the Greater New Orleans Christian Academy, accompanied by their hand chimes ensemble.

Her dedication to her craft is evident in her daily practice routine, often spending 2-3 hours refining her skills.

Olivia’s enthusiasm for music is contagious. She loves pieces with pizzicato and contrasting moods, and experiments with improvised melodies. She has an incredible ear for music and is always eager to play new pieces as soon as she hears them.

Olivia believes her talents are a gift from God, and she is eager to give back by sharing her music with others and serving God in every way she can.
