Owin Abeysinghe is a 9th grader at Indian Hill High school in Cincinnati, OH. He has been playing piano since he was 4 years old. Owin is currently taking piano lessons from Dr. Yuking Chou Brandenburgh of Cincinnati Conservatory of Music (CCM). Owin has won numerous local and international piano competitions including First place in Tri-State Piano Concerto Competition in 2023 and had the honor of performing with the orchestra. He also won second place at the Julia Bartles Concerto Competition in 2025, Second place at the Best Kabalevsky performance in 2021 and Best Beethoven performance in 2019 in Great Composers International music competition, gold medal at CCM-conducted Piano Auditions Festival in 2018 and 2019. Owin has completed Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) Piano Practical Exams upto level 7 earning First-Class Honors with Distinction. He also enjoys performing in high school Orchestra as a violinist.
