
Peter Noh, age 12, is a rising 7th grader at Lakeside Middle School. He began studying piano at the age of six under the guidance of Ms. Yoojung Chung.
Peter is a two-time first place winner at the IAPMT International Competition (2023 and 2025) and also earned first place twice at the Musical Arts Competition of Orange County (2023 and 2024), performing at the winners’ concert held at the Richard Nixon Presidential Library and Museum. In 2023, he won second place at the American Protégé International Piano and Strings Competition and made his Carnegie Hall debut at age ten. He has received multiple gold and silver medals at the MTAC Orange County Theme Festival (2020–2024) and won first place at the Satori Summer Music Festival in 2021. In 2025, he also performed as a promotion pianist at Westpark Elementary School’s promotion ceremony.
Outside of piano, Peter enjoys reading, coding, studying history, and practicing violin and Taekwondo.
