Philip Yim

Philip Yim is a violinist who served as Concertmaster of the New England Conservatory Youth Symphony for the year of 25-26. Philip has earned recognition in numerous regional, national, and international competitions, including first prizes at the Bay State Strings Contest and the Miclot International Music Competition, as well as multiple awards from the LISMA International Music Competition, MTNA State Competition, OPUS State Competition, and the Great Composers Competition. He served as Assistant Concertmaster of the Honors Performance Series Junior Orchestra at Carnegie Hall and also participated in the Heifetz Institute Summer Program.
